Digital Long-Stem Thermometer has a NIST Traceable Certification of Calibration and offers easy measurements. It has a temperature range of -58°–572°F (-50°–300°C) with improved accuracy of ±1.8°F (±1.0°C) and a resolution of 0.1°; 1° above 199.9° and below -19°. This long-stem thermometer fits easily into flasks, beakers, foods, reagents, semisolids, and water baths, making them ideal for use in the field, laboratory, and other process measurements.

Constructed of stainless steel and rugged plastic, and has an 11.5in (292.1mm) stainless steel probe. Features include F/C switchable, a one-second display update on the Celsius scale, a ten-second display update on the Fahrenheit scale, and an On/Off button to conserve battery life. It has a 3.5-digit LCD display with 0.25in (6.35mm) high digits.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
