1.5in Two-Part Compaction Mold Assembly is used with cohesive soils for triaxial or permeability testing and designed to securely hold a 1.5in (38.1mm) soil specimen for compacting. Ordering additional mold assemblies offers increased efficiency in sample preparation. The assembly includes a steel base plate, mold w/ collar, and threaded rods and wing nuts to secure the assembly. The base plate dimensions are 7x0.75in (178x19.05mm) Dia.xH.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
