Grinding Vessels are used with the Fritsch Knife Mill and have a 1.4L capacity. The contoured walls of the vessel are designed to force sample material towards the middle of the mill during operation.

FTA-460 is made of scratch-resistant, autoclavable plastic polycarbonate (PC) and is suitable for all standard samples.

FTA-461 is made of autoclavable stainless steel 316L and is suitable for harder samples or cryogenic grinding.

FTA-463 is made of autoclavable glass and is suitable for food or polymers.

FTA-462 is made of Eastman Tritan Copolyester and is suitable for oily samples or BPA-free sample preparation. This vessel is resistant to chemicals and is dishwasher-proof up to 176°F (80°C).

The Knife Mill grinds very quickly. It is recommended that multiple Grinding Vessels be ordered for parallel use.

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
