2.8in Two-Part Vacuum Split Mold is used in preparing granular soils for triaxial or permeability testing. The 2.8in (71.1mm) soil specimen is compacted within the mold through the use of a Latex Membrane held in place with the user’s vacuum source. The mold is equipped with attached vinyl tubing that connects to the vacuum.
