2-Gang Prism Mold, 2x2x10in (51x51x254mm) is used in length-change testing of Portland cement paste, mortar, or concrete. It is also used with the Length Comparator to measure length change in cast prisms from alkali-silica reactivity (ASR) and other such causes. The mold is equipped with a base plate, removable partitions, and end plates of corrosion-resistant steel to provide the required length between ends of HM-268 Gauge Studs cast on ends of bars. Dimensions from the outside end of gauge studs are 11.625in (296mm) with specimen cross-sections of 1x1in (25x25mm).
