Calibration grade Test Sieve Verification ensures conformance to ASTM E11 specifications with a 99.73% standard deviation confidence level. Wire cloth openings are scanned automatically using an NIST traceable optical comparator to provide a statistical analysis and report.
Calibration Verification is recommended for applications where a high degree of documented accuracy is necessary. Each Calibration Grade Sieve includes a standard Sieve with added Calibration Grade Verification service.
To order Verification with new sieves, see ASTM Test Sieves or ISO Test Sieves. Sieves with backing cloth installed cannot be verified to Inspection or Calibration grade.
