Cement Autoclave provides accelerated curing of mortar bar specimens to estimate the expansion of hydraulic cement caused by hydration using the ASTM C151 test method. Test Bars are cured in controlled steam pressure and temperature.
The ASME-certified welded steel cylinder chamber features a bolted cover and is mounted on a rugged frame encased in a heat-insulated metal housing. The vessel is capable of pressures from 60 to 350psi (0.4 to 2.4MPa).
A pressure regulator, a 4.5in (115mm) dia. gauge (0–600psi x 5psi), a certified 350psi safety pop valve, an ASTM 2F thermometer, an air vent valve, a wrench, and a package of five gaskets are included. Replacement Gaskets, a Test Bar Holder, ASTM thermometers, and Safety Pop Valve set at 350psi are available as accessories. The unit operates on 120V, 50-60Hz at 15.7 amps of maximum power demand. For use with 230V service, order TR-3002 3,000W Step-Up/Step-Down Transformer.
