Concrete Moisture Encounter 5 is a non-destructive, ergonomic handheld meter for the measurement of moisture content in concrete floor surfaces per ASTM F2659. The Moisture Encounter determines precise and accurate floor moisture measurements to a depth of 0.75in (19mm) allowing the user to cover a large area, quickly and prior to installation of the floor covering. It is equipped with an analog dial display that shows readings of 0–6% moisture in concrete or 0–10% moisture in gypsum. A “Hold” button freezes the display. The unit is user calibrated at the start of each use for accurate repeatable readings. The meter is powered by a replaceable 9V battery, included, and has an LED low battery indicator. The unit also includes a zippered storage pouch.
