Concrete Pocket Penetrometer is a rugged, lightweight unit using a calibrated reaction spring for resistance. It is used in performing lab or field evaluations of the initial set of concrete mortar. Plated steel construction resists rust and stands up under harsh field conditions. A 0–700psi scale is etched into the barrel of the piston. A snug-fitting indicator band slides on the piston to register maximum readings.

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
