CONTEMP Accessory Pack is used with the Gilson CONTEMP Concrete Maturity System and includes a set of durable, waterproof probes (one white and one black), plastic tags for probe labeling, a permanent marker for writing on the tags, and a set of replacement AA batteries for the recorder. This pack can be purchased when starting a new project or to enable data collection on larger projects when purchased with additional CONTEMP Recorders.
To monitor concrete maturity, the two probes are connected to a recorder and embedded in the concrete during placement. The probes have no difference in operation, but are supplied in two colors to easily and quickly differentiate between them. At the end of the monitoring period, the probes are detached and abandoned in place. CONTEMP Probes for subsequent projects can also be purchased individually.
CT-75C includes all of the same components but also comes with a NIST traceable certificate.
