Simply insert blades into space from the core drill bit, grasp the core with the tongs, and lift. Recovered cores are free of damage that may occur from the use of improper tools. Laboratory acceptance for testing is assured without repeat drilling. Tongs are made of welded, painted steel with plastic handle grips.
