Disposable Cones for Dynamic Cone Penetrometers are single-use cones, alternatively used when the SFA-22 Hardened Steel Point would be difficult to extract from the soil. Cones are abandoned in place once penetration measurements are complete. Disposable Cones have a 0.790in (20.1mm) diameter and taper at a 60° angle to the point. SFA-21 Disposable Cone Adapter is needed to connect cones to DCP and is sold separately. Available in a package of 25 disposable cones.
