Filter Flasks are thick-walled Pyrex® glass and have side tubulation for 3/8in (9.5mm) ID vacuum tubing. When used in conjunction with Indicating Drierite Granules, filter flasks can be used as a moisture trap for vacuum pump protection. Neoprene Stoppers and Neoprene Stoppers with Glass Tube are available to fit each size of the filter flask.
GW-74 1,000mL Flask is most commonly used as a moisture trap due to its manageable size. GW-74 uses a No.8 Stopper or No.8 Stopper with Glass Tube.
GW-75 2,000mL Flask meets ASTM and AASHTO vacuum container capacity requirements when used as a pycnometer. GW-75 uses a No.9 Stopper or No.9 Stopper with Glass Tube.
GW-76 4,000mL Flask also meets ASTM and AASHTO standards specifications for use as a vacuum container for weighing in the air only. GW-76 uses a No.12 Stopper or No.12 Stopper with Glass Tube.
