Compressometers measure the deformation and strain of concrete cylinders under compression to determine the static modulus of elasticity (MOE). These units integrate with the “M” or “MR” models of Gilson Automatic Compression Machines. Two horizontal aluminum alloy yokes surround the specimen and are connected by a fixed rod. The bottom yoke is rigidly fixed to the cylinder and the upper yoke attaches at two points to permit pivoting.
ACA-540 is designed for use with 4x8in concrete cylinders.
ACA-560 is designed for use with 6x12in concrete cylinders.
