Precision Splitters quickly divide granular materials and fine powders to produce representative samples for laboratory analysis. These single stage riffle-type splitters feature a gate-controlled hopper and precision fixed-width chutes for increased accuracy. Samples are divided in half with each pass and are collected in receptacles under the chutes.
Construction is all heavy-gauge type 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance, increased service life, and reduction of sample contamination. An easy-flip gate hopper control enables samples to be loaded completely and evenly distributed before opening. Side panels control dust to reduce the loss of fines, and units disassemble quickly for cleaning.
SP-300 Precision Splitter has sixteen chutes with 0.5in (12.7mm) chute width opening, and the chute angle is 45°. Hopper capacity of 132in³ (2.2L). The maximum recommended particle size 0.2in (5mm).
SP-302 Precision Splitter has sixteen chutes with 0.25in (6.4mm) chute width opening, and the chute angle is 45°. Hopper capacity of 61in³ (1L). The maximum recommended particle size is 0.09in (2.2mm).
SP-304 Precision Splitter has thirty chutes with 0.125in (3.2mm) chute width opening, and the chute angle is 45°. Hopper capacity of 61in³ (1L). The maximum recommended particle size is 0.04in (1mm).
SP-306 Precision Splitter has thirty chutes with 0.06in (1.6mm) chute width opening, and the chute angle is 60°. Hopper capacity of 8.8in³ (0.14L). The maximum recommended particle size is 0.02in (0.6mm).
