HMA-182 Penetration Cone, Hollow Magnesium with plunger meets ASTM D2884 and is constructed of magnesium. Cone is 90° with a 30° removable hardened steel tip. Total cone weight is 30.0g (0.066lb).

HMA-183 Grease Penetration Cone, Hollow Brass is made of brass and has removable nut and stem. Meets requirements of ASTM D217 and ASTM D937 for testing grease. Cone is 90° with a 30° removable hardened stainless steel tip. Total cone weight is 102.5g (0.266lb).

HMA-183S Grease Penetration Cone, Hollow Stainless Steel meets requirements of ASTM D217 and ASTM D937 for testing grease. Cone is 90° with a 30° removable highly-polished stainless steel tip with removable nut and stem. Total cone weight is 102.5g (0.266lb).

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
