12.4L High Alumina Grinding Jar is ultra-high fired with long service life, negligible silica contamination, and a polyurethane-coated body to minimize breakage. The jar features a wide mouth for fast loading and cleaning, and neoprene gasketed lids with positive-locking bar and handwheel. Specimen capacity is approximately 25% of total jar volume. Grinding Jars use either Burundum or Zirconia Grinding Media, and are required for use with Jar Mills.
