Description

Thermo Scientific™ Cimarec+™ Hot Plate features a 7.25in (184mm) square ceramic heating plate that is easy to clean and resistant to most chemicals. Microprocessor-controlled feedback with digital display maintains accurate, consistent temperatures with settings adjustable in one-degree increments. Large wire-wound mica heating element assures fast, even heating. The hot surface alert system warns of high temperatures regardless of On/Off status. Low-profile aluminum housing prevents fluid spills into electronics.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
