Hydrometers are for use in Sulfate Soundness Tests to measure specific gravity of the sulfate solution to ±0.001 SG. Meets ASTM C88, AAASHTO T 104, California Test 214 and PennDOT 510 standards.

MA-168 Hydrometer tests for sulfate soundness of Sodium with a range of 1.120–1.190.

MA-169 Hydrometer tests for sulfate soundness of Magnesium and has a range of 1.240–1.310.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
