For applications requiring optimal accuracy and documentation of test results, Gilson ISO Sieves can be upgraded from Compliance Grade to Calibration Grade. Calibration Grade sieves have a 99.73% confidence level that the standard deviation of the sieve openings is within the maximum under ISO standards.
A prescribed number of openings of each sieve are individually measured on an NIST traceable optical comparator before shipment. Computerized scanning of the sieve produces a statistical analysis backed by documentation to Calibration Grade.
To order Calibration Grade with new sieves, see ISO Test Sieves. Sieves with backing cloth installed cannot be verified to Inspection or Calibration Grade.
