For applications when accuracy or documentation of test results is critical, Gilson ISO Sieves can be upgraded from Compliance Grade to Inspection Grade. Inspection Sieves have a 99% confidence level that the standard deviation of the sieve openings is within the maximum under ISO standards.
A prescribed number of openings of each sieve are individually measured using an NIST traceable optical comparator before shipment. Computerized scanning of the sieve produces a statistical analysis backed by documentation to Inspection Grade.
To order Inspection Grade with new sieves, see ISO Test Sieves. Sieves with backing cloth installed cannot be verified to Inspection or Calibration Grade.
