K-Slump Tester is newly redesigned and has improved ruggedness and manufacturing tolerance to improve the accuracy of K-Slump results. Approximate concrete slump and workability readings can be quickly determined prior to or after placement.
The hollow stainless steel probe has two groups of side openings through which wet concrete enters. Once the tube is lowered into position, lower the plastic measuring rod until it touches the concrete surface, and an estimate of concrete slump is provided by the reading on the graduated scale.
Workability is indicated by the measured height of concrete retained in the tester after removal. Readings are reliable with 2.36in (60mm) or more of concrete surrounds the tester. Instructions and correlation chart are included.
