Drierite Air Dryer is an all-purpose drying unit. This drierite column works with vacuum or pressure applications and protects vacuum pumps from harmful moisture during operations. It is designed to dry air to -100°F dew point at atmospheric pressure or pressures up to 90psi (6.2 bar). The recommended flow rate is 0.1scfm (200/lph) at 90psi (6.2 bar). Water capacity is up to 50 grams.
Dry air or gas flows through a rubber hose connected to the bottom inlet of the dryer. Hose barbs accept 1/4in (6.4mm) or 3/8in (9.5mm) ID tubing. The molded polycarbonate column is sealed with a threaded cap. Stainless steel springs hold No.8, Indicating Drierite Granules between two felt filters.
