Gilson HM-926 Length Gauge measures the elongation index of aggregates for classification. The aggregate is elongated when its longest dimension is more than 1.8 times the midsize of the sieve fraction. The mass of all elongated aggregates as a percent of the total sample is the elongation index.
The model has six stainless steel pins set in a brushed aluminum base. Six labeled openings between pairs of the pins are used in determining the length of particles from each of the sieve fractions tested under 50mm.
Features:
- Rugged aluminum and stainless steel construction
- Precisely located stainless steel pins for accurate measurements
- Laser-etched markings clearly show sizes
Included Items:
- Length Gauge for Elongation Index
