Lightweight Aluminum Calibrator is used to quickly check concrete air meter accuracy. It is sturdier than plastic models, less expensive than brass models, and accurately machined to exact dimensions.
With a calibrator placed in the water-filled 0.25ft³ base, the air meter gauge should register 5% air. Two calibrators can be used in a meter for a 10% air reading.
