HMA-113 LVDT Calibrator w/ Digital Micrometer is a precision fixture fitted with a digital micrometer to verify the performance of the linear variable differential transducer (LVDT) used in HM-271 Gilson's Concrete Coefficient of Thermal Expansion Test System. The LVDT mount accommodates 0.500–0.625in dia. LVDT bodies and uses a 2025 button battery. Calibration is required in AASHTO T 336 to determine linearity and repeatability of the LVDT and should be done every six months, or sooner if CTE results are not consistent.
A digital micrometer allows for clear, visible reading that doesn't require separate calibration, with a travel range of 1in (25.4mm). Measurement units can be switched between English and metric.
