HM-302 Modified Vicat Apparatus for False Set is used for false set (early stiffening) determination of Portland cement mortar. It is equipped with a 0.39in (10mm) dia. plunger and 100g weight. The total weight of the plunger assembly with an adjustable indicator is 400g. The apparatus also comes with a scale graduated from 0-50mm, plastic conical mold, 4x4x.137in (102x102x4.8mm) Dia.xH glass plate, and frame with bakelite platform. The mold base is 2.75in Dia., 2.36in Dia. at top and 1.58in high (70x60x40mm).
