Mounted Sliders are used with the HM-602W Pendulum Skid Tester to measure the potential for automotive tire skidding on the pavement as well as the skid resistance of surfaces and polishing tendencies of aggregates. Sliders consist of graded rubber pads mounted to an aluminum backing plate. HM-228 and HM-229 Unmounted Pads are also available as replacement pads.

HMA-203 3in (76mm) Mounted Slider is for testing road surfaces and meets BS 7976 and EN 13036-4 standards.

HMA-207 1.25in (32mm) Mounted Slider is used to test polishing wheel specimens and does not meet the standards indicated in HMA-203.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
