Mud (Dutch) Augers have a unique, open design ideal for cutting through mucky, boggy, and root-bound soils. These 12in (305mm) long with 3in (76mm) dia. units allow for easy sample recovery and clean-up and are available in carbon or stainless steel. The Carbon Steel model can be used in most sampling applications while the Stainless Steel auger is best for environmental sampling with minimal contamination.

Augers have a hexagonal connection with a hole for a locking pin. Quick-Connect Pins are purchased separately to easily and securely connect augers to extensions with quick-connect fittings. Inquire for augers with threaded connections.

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
