2.25in (57.2mm) Concrete Core Drill Bit (Open-Head) is used with Gasoline or Electric-Powered Core Drills to obtain drilled cores of hardened concrete or asphalt for laboratory testing or evaluation. The Coring Bit attaches to the drilling machine with a properly sized Expander Set. Diamond Bits perform well in high-output, heavy-use applications, and can be refurbished when worn. Diamond Coring Bits are designed for wet-use with reinforced concrete and similar hard materials. Fast-cutting when used for indicated applications.
Expander Sets for Open-Head Concrete Coring Drill Bits are required to connect Open-Head Concrete Coring Bits to the drilling machine and are purchased separately in sizes corresponding to the bit. The final core diameter is approximately 0.25in (6.4mm) smaller than the nominal outside diameter.
