Original Schmidt Calibration Anvil is used to periodically verify the calibration of Type N and Type L Original Schmidt and Original Schmidt Live Concrete Test Hammers. When used with an optional HMA-863 Adapter, it can also verify the performance of Silver Schmidt and Rock Schmidt models. This calibration anvil has a solid steel hammer guide, 6in (152mm) diameter anvil, and a hardened alloy steel rebound plate. The impact surface of the rebound plate is concave so that the test hammer plunger seats completely in the impact surface of the anvil. A wire cleaning brush is included.
