Porcelain Crucibles are used with Muffle Furnaces for loss-on-ignition (LOI) testing of cement, fly ash, and soil materials. They are temperature-rated to 1,832°F (1,000°C). They have a high-form design and are glazed inside and out, except for the outside bottom and rim. The crucibles are available in three sizes and are sold in packages of five.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
