CTA-33 54kHz Exponential Transducers with Calibration Rod is used for rough concrete and rounded surfaces (no couplant required)
CTA-35 150kHz Transducers is used for fine-grained material, small objects
CTA-36 250kHz Transducers is used for fine-grained material, rock, cores
CTA-37 500kHz Transducers is used for very fine-grained material, rock, use on small samples limited by the size of the transducer

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
