Rapid Chloride Permeability Cell positions 4x2in or 100x50mm concrete cores or cylinder specimens for testing with HM-723 Rapid Chloride Permeability Tester. The cell ends have fluid reservoirs, with one end negative and one positive, to measure electrical current flow. The two plexiglass end caps also are equipped with embedded conductive mesh and necessary electrical connections. The specimen is sealed inside the cell by four corner bolts and two internal gaskets. Two connecting wires are included with each cell to connect to the Permeability Tester.
HMA-278 is for use with 4in specimens. Sealing Rings adapt to a 4in cell for use with 100mm (3.9in) specimens (sold separately).
