Latex Membranes are for use with AP-14 and AP-16 Laboratory Asphalt Permeameters in testing hydraulic conductivity of asphalt cores or lab-compacted specimens. A 4in (102mm) or 6in (152mm) membrane is placed over the sample for testing. The membranes are 0.025in (0.635mm) thick and prevent infiltration of water along the sides between the sample and permeameter.

APA-144 Membranes are 4in and sold in a package of six.

APA-166 Membranes are 6in and also come six/package.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
