Plastic Cylinder Molds are for single-use concrete cylinder testing applications. They are nonabsorptive and molded as single-piece units for dimensional uniformity. These rugged molds have an unlimited shelf life and are weather-resistant. Plastic concrete cylinder molds are recyclable and biodegradable by containing a unique additive that allows microbes present in landfills and composting facilities to break down plastic. Molds are unaffected by heat, light, or cement paste. A built-in lip helps retain round specimen shape, provides a stable plane for quick specimen strike-off, and easy lid attachment (sold separately). Constructed with a writable surface allows the recording of data.
Molds are available in four sizes 6x12in, 4x8in, 3x6in, and 2x4in. Cylinder Mold Lids, Cylinder Stripping Tool, and Cylinder Carriers are available as optional sample integrity and convenience accessories. Other concrete cylinder molds are also available.
