Description

HMA-629 Specimen Cooling Door cools asphalt specimens in the chambers of HM-685S and HM-685SF Superpave Gyratory Compactors w/Shear Measurement before extrusion, reducing the amount of time for asphalt mixtures containing rubber to cool. The door assembly is equipped with a built-in fan with wiring and is easily installed using basic tools. The cooling door replaces the clear chamber door initially installed in the HM-685S unit, and also comes with a power supply assembly, USB flash drive with software, all necessary hardware, and installation instructions.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
