Standard Soil Augers are constructed of carbon steel or stainless steel for use in sampling a wide range of soil types. They have an open bit design to allow larger particles to pass through and feature quick connect fittings. Quick-Connect Pins, Handles, and Extensions are available and can be purchased separately. Inquire for augers with threaded connections.

Carbon Steel Augers are suited for most applications while the Stainless-Steel Auger is designed for environmental sampling with minimal contamination.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
