The HM-300 Standard Vicat Apparatus determines consistency and set times of hydraulic cement, mortar, and grout. With modification using the HMA-293 Threaded Adapter Weight, available separately, it also determines a false set. This device has a reversible 300g stainless steel rod with a 10mm (0.4in) dia. plunger at one end and a 1mm (0.04in) needle at the other. The adjustable indicator on the rod may be set to indicate in either orientation on the 0-50 x 1mm graduated scale. It is equipped with a frame and platform and includes a 4x4in (102x102mm) glass plate and HMA-290 hard plastic Conical Mold, 60x70x40mm, Top IDxBase IDxH.
