Temperature Control Device features electric heating for temperature control and conditioning of asphalt binder rotational viscosity specimens. Temperatures up to 300°C (572°F) with an accuracy of ±0.2°C are maintained for consistent, high-temperature viscosity tests. It can be controlled through the LP-74 High-Performance Viscometer using optional LPA-713 Advanced Software. Regulated temperature set points and programmable operation make it easier to comply with ASTM/AASHTO standards when testing asphalt binder samples. Operates on 110-240V/50-60Hz electrical supplies.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
