USB Temperature Data Logger has a measurement range of -35 to 80°C (-31 to 176°F) with a resolution of 0.5°C (1°F), and stores up to 16,382 temperature readings. Accuracy is ±1°F (0.5°C). It has selectable logging intervals between 10 seconds and 12 hours, with immediate and delayed logging starts. The data logger features user-programmable alarms and a status indicator with red/green and amber LED. The green LED indicator flashes in normal operation, and the red will flash if an alarm situation has been triggered. Amber indicates there may be a problem.
Data is downloaded through a direct connection to a computer’s USB port by using the free downloadable software. The software is compatible with 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows 7, 8, and 10 and can download, graph, annotate data, and export to Excel, PDF, and jpg formats. MA-494 comes with one replaceable AA lithium metal battery that typically has a three-year logging life and a wall mounting bracket.
