Description

Bituminous Materials Penetration Needle has 40-45mm of exposed needle length. Used for asphalt testing with the Asphalt Penetrometers.

The needle is made of smooth, hardened, tempered stainless steel with a brass ferrule. Weight of 2.5g to give 50g total when mounted to the Universal Asphalt Penetrometer’s 47.5g plunger assembly.

HMA-180C comes with ASTM accuracy certification.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
