The 0.39ft³ (11.0L) Muffle Furnace with a touchscreen controller is a laboratory muffle furnace for high-temperature applications. The MF-4A and MF-4AF models have a maximum temperature of 2,000°F (1,093°C).
This front-opening model is housed in a painted, heavy-gauge steel case for long service life. The chamber is made of 2.5in (63.5mm) thick refractory firebrick and has easily accessible heating elements mounted inside. A built-in stand lifts the furnace safely off the worktable. The drop front door has a counterweight to keep the door closed and includes a safety switch that cuts power to the elements when the door is opened. The opened oven door can be used to hold trays for loading or unloading.
The Muffle Furnace is equipped with a touchscreen controller. It features programmable options and different user interface levels that can be set to match the user’s firing knowledge. Store up to 30 custom user programs, up to 32 segments per program, and make adjustments during a firing, such as “Add Segments,” “Add Temperature,” and “Skip Segments.” One-year warranty included.
