CBR Surcharge Masses are used in CBR testing for simulation of pavement or base course confining loads. Masses are available with an annular (circular) opening or a convenient slotted opening that allows adding or removing masses with the penetration piston in place. Additional masses may be needed when simulating large pavement loads.

BRA-40 CBR Annular Surcharge Mass, 10lb has a 10in (254mm) diameter and circular opening.

BRA-41 CBR Slotted Surcharge Mass, 10lb has an 8.5in (216mm) diameter and U-shaped opening.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
