The Electronic Temperature Device (ETD-300) precisely regulates specimen temperature for asphalt bitumen samples. The device includes built-in sensors and controls to regulate sample temperatures from 25 to 300°C (77 to 572°F) at an accuracy of ±0.1°C (0.2°F). The ETD must be equipped with the LP-84 Rotational Viscometer to meet the requirements of ASTM D4402/AASHTO T 316 for asphalt binder testing.

One Stainless Steel AISI 316L Chambers and Five Aluminum Disposable Chambers are included. Additional chambers can be purchased to improve the throughput and sample testing efficiency.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
