Funnel is used to guide material into the Standard Universal Cutting Mill. The mill is capable of cutting long and bulk solids when equipped with the standard funnel or stainless steel funnel. The protected funnel is suitable for all other materials.
FTA-500 is made of plastic and allows free-flowing bulk solids, straws, films, or similar materials to be inserted into the mill at full length. The small end of the plunger can be used to add long materials and the wide end can be used to add bulk solids.
FTA-501 is a protected funnel made of stainless steel that includes a plastic sample pusher to improve handling and material feeding. This funnel is suitable for all other non-bulk materials.
