Kestrel® 5200 Professional Environmental Meters are handheld, portable units with built-in evaporation rate calculators for monitoring the conditions allowing plastic shrinkage cracking in fresh concrete.
Meeting ACI 308R guidelines for documentation of concrete placement and curing conditions. The meters offer a complete suite of environmental measurements and calculations, including air temperature, wind speed, relative humidity, barometric pressure, evaporation rate, dew point, heat stress, and wind chill.
The high-resolution display and dual-color backlight provide visibility in any lighting conditions. The display window is break and scratch-resistant. Waterproof to IP67 and drop-tested to MIL-STD-810G. Up to 2,900 data points can be uploaded and stored to a PC with the MAA-166 USB Transfer Cable.
MA-317 Kestrel® 5200 Professional Environmental Meter can transfer data to a PC via the MAA-166 USB Transfer Cable.
MA-317B Kestrel® 5200 w/LiNK Professional Environmental Meter provides Wi-Fi connectivity to a smartphone or tablet for remote monitoring. The Link Enabled model can communicate directly to a Windows or Mac computer via Wi-Fi when used with the MAA-167 Kestrel LiNK® Dongle, purchased separately.
