Sieve Rings are used with the Fritsch Variable Speed Rotor Mill to determine the final fineness of the material being milled. Constructed of extremely durable, low-wear stainless steel 316L, sieve rings are suitable for all standard applications, such as medium-hard, soft, brittle, and fibrous substances.
Sieve rings are available with trapezoidal, square, or round perforations. Trapezoidal perforations are suitable for medium-hard to soft samples and perform additional shearing effects. Square and round perforations are suitable for brittle materials to achieve medium fineness. Square perforations have larger throughput and less sample residue, while round perforations are ideal for a narrow particle size range.
Note that one Impact Rotor and one Sieve Ring are required to operate the Variable Speed Rotor Mill.
