Description

The LP-18 Softening Point Beaker Stand Assembly is a metal support stand with ring clamp, wire gauze, and thermometer clamp for use with the LP-16 Softening Point Ring & Ball Apparatus. The Beaker Stand Assembly holds the 800ml Glass Beaker during softening point testing of asphalt, coal tar pitch, and other viscoelastic bitumens.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
