Description

Soil Cement Tamping Rod is used in the preparation of soil-cement specimens for compressive strength testing in accordance with requirements of ASTM D1632 Method B. A pre-weighed soil-cement sample is first consolidated into the mold assembly using the Tamping Rod, before final consolidation with the HM-228 Dropping Weight Compactor to achieve the required length dimension. The straight steel rod is 0.5x20in (12.7x508mm) Dia.xL.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
